Spring & Summer
In the Summer, Penticton is known for its rolling hills of wineries, local farmers markets, orchards, hikes, beaches, lakes and for floating down the channel on the inner tube lake-to-lake.
Fall
In the Fall, Penticton’s nature shows her true beauty. The hills change to a golden yellow as the leaves change colour. The sunsets are gorgeous! It’s a great time for trail walks, hikes and biking. Cap off the evening at one of the many craft beer breweries. Penticton is turning into quite a craft beer hub!
Winter
Winter in Penticton is fun! Apex Mountain Ski Resort is not far, or if you would like to stay local, the Penticton Lakeside Resort seasonal ice skating rink offers public and private skates, with fire-side drinks and food. The hotel and the downtown are decorated for Christmas! Complete your holiday shopping at the local boutiques, bring home all the local wine and beer you need to stock your fridge for a holiday entertaining.
