Be in the Heart of the Village at The Adara Hotel Whistler

Be in the heart of the village and steps away from restaurants, shops and bars when you stay at The Adara Hotel Whistler. This is a great hotel for a quick one or 2 night getaway from the city and into the mountains for some R&R.

The Pros

There are so many pros to staying at The Adara Hotel. You can walk to everything in the Village, which is great if you have kids! You don’t have to pack snacks for the car ride or load everyone up into the car to get someplace. You can just step out of the hotel and follow your nose to the closest coffee shop for a hot coffee on a brisk mountain air day!

We stayed at The Adara on a Sunday to Monday in the Fall. Have you ever been to Whistler in the Fall? It is gorgeous! The trees in the village change colour to red, orange and yellow. The air is cold, crisp and so perfect to get a hot coffee and go shopping.

The Adara is pet-friendly so we were excited to bring our english bulldog, Zoey! It also has a pool and hot tub on the 2nd floor. So after walking through the village, or biking the trails you can warm up and soak sore muscles in their hot tub. If we brought our 2 older kids, they would’ve loved the pool and hot tub!

The Cons

The one downside… (depending on who you go with!) is it is on top of Whistler’s Buffalo Bills. A loud, incredibly fun bar. YEARS AGO I had my bachelorette party in Whistler and Buffalo Bills was on the list of bars we went to! I can’t say I remember much but I’m sure we were loud. The hotel does supply each room with ear plugs, in case you happen to be there on a night where it’s loud. I can imagine in the Summer the bar fills up and stays open till 3am.

A Great Place To Stay In The Heart of Whistler Village

But overall, this is a great hotel to stay at with friends, your partner, pets and even your kids. We booked a mountain view room with a master bedroom. The room was inviting and cozyThe couch in the living room pulls out into a double bed and the staff kindly supplied us with a play pen/cot for our baby. The room and everything in it was so clean and we felt safe staying there.
