Mother’s Day is such a fun time for us at our house. Fun for me because I get spoiled but also fun for Mikayla because she gets to make something to give as a present. This year she’s celebrating with her new baby cousin Parker who is 4 months old. With mine and Auntie Brandi’s help, they made a special Mother’s Day Gift For Grandma.
It’s super easy, any child of any age can do this. We’re laminating ours but you can also put it in a nice frame.
You’ll need:
- 1 large piece of paper
- Paint – different colours for the flowers, and green for the grass and stems
- Bug or other flower stickers
- 1 thin Sharpie
- 1 paint brush
- 1 paint sponge
Mikayla had a lot of fun making this “Garden for Grandma” she didn’t want to stop painting. She loved stamping and mixing all the colours together. Last year we made a special box for Grandma to put photos and artwork she gets from Mikayla (read: The Best Mother’s Day DIY Gift For Grandma)
