The transition from Fall to Winter in Vancouver can be very grey, dull and wet. It’s cold and flu season and we’re all looking for a way to avoid it. I make a “Sunshine Smoothie” for us that Mikayla loves. It’s packed with Vitamin D -the sunshine vitamin and Vitamin C to help fight the cold bug. It’s also a nice sunny colour!
Sunshine Smoothie
Serves: 2, Prep: 5 Minutes
1 cup of frozen Mangoes
1/2 cup of Orange Juice
1/3 cup of plain yogurt or mango or peach yogurt
1 cup of Almond Milk
Directions:
Put all ingredients in a blender and blend until it is a smooth consistency.
Serve! Garnish with some orange slices. Enjoy 🙂
