The Best Sledding Hills in Metro Vancouver

As soon as my kids see the slightest dusting of snow, they’re excited to get their boots and gear on, grab their sled and play! Growing up in Steveston and Vancouver, finding the best hills to slide down was a fun memory. Here’s a list of parks we like and some you’ve submitted!

Richmond:

Steveston Community Park: 4011 Moncton St

Delta:

Langley:

Campbell Valley Park: 20290 16th Avenue
Fort Langley National Historic Site (outside the Fort walls): 23433 Mavis Avenue

Surrey:

Central City Plaza: 13450 102 Ave
Royal Kwantlen Park: 13035 – 104 Avenue

Vancouver:

West Point Grey Academy (Trimble Park): 4125 West 8th Avenue
Kensington Park: Knight Street and East 37th Avenue
Queen Elizabeth Park: 4600 Cambie Street at West 33rd Avenue
Douglas Park: 801 W 22nd Avenue at Heather Street

What to bring when you go sledding:

  • A sled!
  • Waterproof snow gear – snow boots, snow pants, winter jacket, toque and snow gloves
  • An extra pair of clothes, including socks & underwear
  • An extra pair of gloves
  • Snacks!
  • Hand warmers
  • Your phone for fun photos!
