Lights to the Lodge at Cypress Mountain

Where: Cypress Mountain
A safe and easy 1-km snowshoe trek to the historic Hollyburn Lodge along a self-guided trail through the enchanting Old Growth Forest. The trail is lit with LED lights strung sustainably through the forest boughs of ancient Cedar, Fir, and Hemlock trees. After enjoying your visit to the Lodge and perhaps one of our popular menu items or refreshments, guests can snowshoe back to the base area along a return trail also with feature lighting. This invigorating trek will be great fun for families and groups of friends or colleagues – what a great way to spend a winter evening!
Kids ride FREE at the Sea To Sky Gondola
When: March 14-29, 10am to 4pm (last ride down is 5pm)
Where: Sea to Sky Gondola, Squamish
Go 885 meters above sea level & explore the snow-covered wonderland at our summit with the kids this Spring Break at the Sea to Sky Gondola! Kids 12 and under ride free during Spring Break. Up to three children per paying adult from March 14 – 29.

Drop in for our sustainability-themed spring break activities. There will be take-home craft kits, scavenger hunts complete with prizes, a seed craft, bubbles, and appearances by a special guest – Raj the Raccoon!
T. REX: The Ultimate Predator at Science World
When & Where: February 26, 2022 – January 2023 – 1455 Quebec Street, Vancouver
Encounter the prehistoric wonders of the late Cretaceous Period and come face-to-face with a 66-million-year-old marvel! In this exhibit, you can walk through the world millions of years ago where this gigantic creature roamed the earth with a hunter’s keen senses. Once a fluffy hatchling, learn how the T. Rex evolved into a ferocious hunter through interactive activities that bring it to life. Unleash your inner paleontologist, identify the first dinosaur egg and inspect early evidence of dinosaur feathers. Using your imagination, choose a colour scheme for a virtual T.rex then head to the roar mixer to create your own version of its roar by blending the sounds of birds, crocodiles, and other living animals.
