It was a rainy Spring day in Ladner when we went to The Urban Rack to look for something that wasn’t a grungy, heavy knit sweater. My best friend Kelly is going to Palm Springs for a much needed SUNNY vacation, so she was in search of nice vacation transition pieces. I’m not going anywhere… I just wanted something that said “GOODBYE WINTER” and made me feel better about myself and my very new pregnant belly.
The Urban Rack in Ladner had all their Spring things in and were getting new stuff each week. So going there first was a must! All their clothes are perfect for our kind of weather. Lots of layer-able shirts and dresses with great knit cardigans and long kimono-like sweaters.They also carry one of my favourite bag lines.. Matt and Nat. #VEGAN
While we were in Ladner we picked up a couple of hot drinks to go, then stopped by Sonia’s flowers for some arrangements just to add something green and fresh at home. It was pouring rain! Probably better to stay inside but we wanted to get some good photos somewhere beautiful and our friend Shelby suggested the Kirkland House’s front porch!
